To be recognized for who you are, recorded as you are, and remembered correctly.

For generations, other people decided how Black Americans showed up on screens, in magazines, and in the news. We're picking up where the legends before us left off, and carrying the counter-story into the present.

We don't chase breaking news. We take the time to connect what's happening now to where it came from, so you walk away understanding it, not just knowing about it.
